New York Fashion Week’s main focus may be the many, many runway shows taking over the city, but there’s also plenty of fun to be had after the last model has cleared the stage. We sent man about town Matt Weinberger to capture Fall 2025 NYFW’s after parties in all their chaotic glory — check out his photo diary, below.
Luar at 180 Maiden Lane
Twerking on the ground, stunting in the club, boys kissing boys, girls getting silly. The Luar party seemed to be taking over the city. Everyone from all corners of the fashion community and beyond made it down to FiDi to get it going with Luar. Another season where Luar is in great competition to be king of the scene.
Anna Bolina at 55 Broadway
Dark, ethereal and almost alien-like, Anna Bolina is a world builder. Following her Fall 2025 runway, the space at 55 Broadway transformed into a party with an open bar and lots of people ready to drink. The crowd that had just attended the show had a chance to mingle with the models who had just walked. There were lots of hugs and big congratulations. Anna is, season after season, proving herself as a force to be reckoned with in NYC fashion. While not on the main CFDA calendar, she holds her own amongst many of the more established designers dominating the scene. The party was filled with some of the coolest, most tapped in people in the downtown scene. Anna Bolina is so it.
Willy Chavarria at The Manner
Following the runway, people came to party! Willy Chavarria and his gang pulled up alongside a troupe of fashionistas, who took us on a ride. There was an unbelievably risqué vibe: decadence, good humor, sweat, making out, piercing eyes darting across the room, drinks getting thrown back, shuffling feet on the dance floor. The party was packed! And, of course, there were lots of flashes from the many photographers on the prowl itching to catch a great image. The night could have gone on forever.
Eckhaus Latta at The Russian Tea Room
The Russian Team Room was transformed into a Valentine’s playground for both the single and taken to mingle and talk shop, or potentially fall in love. Upon entry, attendees were gifted shirts that noted whether the person was single, taken or “it’s complicated,” which resulted in a flirt fest (maybe not really, but in my head canon it was). Cat Cohen hopped up on stage and serenaded the crowd. Yummy treats were passed around. Amanda Lepore, Ella Emhoff, Lauren Servideo, Riley Stumpf, The Cobra Snake and a number of other heartthrobs made an appearance. Love was in the air!
The Alt NY Fashion Gala at Le Bain
The Alt NY Fashion Gala brought together emerging designers to come celebrate their work and party. Le Bain was filled to the brim with outfits ranging from streetwear to couture designed by the participating brands that included Drink More Water, Alien Body, Lethal New York, Vada, Locket, Cydn3yyy, ByLivHandmade, MINDBLOWN, Midao, Zuma, CloudiJobi, Bella Pietro, Emerson Isa and GRMNTS. The night had DJ sets by Wave.89, Pictureplane and Orson, interspersed with an epic surprise performance by Promiseland that got the whole room jumping up and down. The night ended with a DJ set by AliRQ b2b with SVET aka Quiet Girls, who played hyper pop bangers, keeping the energy high until 4 a.m.
Marc Jacobs at The Manner
Following an exciting show to kick off NYFW, Marc Jacobs threw a super chic function in Sloane’s at The Manner, the newest downtown property owned by The Standard (and soon to join World of Hyatt). The night started off with a DJ set by NYC darling Memphy. A troupe of downtown NYC and LA cool kids came through, including photographer Morgan Maher, designer April Rubi, Model Eric Jess and influencer Ana Saber. Hunter Schafer popped by and Amanda Lepore made an appearance. Dara was running the dance floor. After Memphy’s set, NYC’s hottest hyperpop sibling duo Angel and Lulu Frost (AKA The Frost Children) hopped on the decks.
Breda at Listening Bar
Breda launched a new line of watches, and what better way to celebrate than with a NYFW party? The event took place at a Japanese listening bar and featured a delicious offering of cocktails and snacks. Influencers, fashion kids, music scene regulars and horologists filled the room. The crowd was treated to a live acoustic performance by the Bec Lauder.
Saks Party at Crane Club Restaurant
Saks threw another banger of an NYFW party, an elegant affair for the fashion world’s heavy-hitters. An oyster bar was there for the picking and pizza was being handed out by the pie. Thomas Doherty and Max Tardio were there, and Alex Consani floated around the room. Caroline Polachek came out for a surprise performance that lit up the room. Harrison Patrick Smith (AKA The Dare) made an appearance, chatting with Caroline and other cool cultural figures like Lyas and Sasha Faith Mutchnik.
Jimmy Choo Dinner and After Party at Jean’s
Jimmy Choo started the night with a dinner co-hosted with Chloë Sevigny, with a special performance by legend Patti Smith. The room was filled with the coolest crowd including Jack Harlow, Jemima Kirk, Cole Sprouse, Lisa Rinna, Amanda Lepore, Ella Emhoff, The Dare, Kelela and a myriad of other incredible attendees. Following the dinner, the dining room transformed into a nightclub and The Dare hopped on the DJ decks.
All The Rage Tea Party
The art of an intimate party lives on. Ava Pearlman’s new label, All The Rage, has been capturing the hearts and minds of downtown cool girls, and the elegant socialites and debutantes of the Upper West Side. The tea party featured tiny cakes and treats, all curated to create a homey atmosphere at the function.
Edie Parker x Luann de Lesseps
Edie Parker brought us a night of Housewives galore! If the edibles being handed out or the sativa and indica THC vapes passed out on a silver platter didn’t lighten your mood, certainly Luann de Lesseps’ fun performance would have. She hopped up by that piano and sang her song “Money Can’t Buy You Class,” which had the whole room dancing. A few other housewives made appearances, as well Amy Sedaris, Charlotte Groeneveld, Clara Perlmutter, Kate Young, Angelica Hicks and Carlotta Kohl.
