Travis Scott is already making waves in WWE after joining Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and John Cena to attack Cody Rhodes.
The Sicko Mode rapper, 33, was in Toronto, Canada for Elimination Chamber over the weekend when Cena betrayed the American Nightmare, and the trio unleashed a brutal beatdown on the current Undisputed WWE Champion.
At one point, Travis went to deliver a slap to Cody but appeared to get a little snug, catching him in the face with a bit more force than you’d usually see in professional wrestling.
According to Wrestling Observer Radio‘s Dave Meltzer, the champ suffered a busted eardrum and black eye as a result of the slap, while Billboard reports that the injuries are ‘legitimate’.
While many fans were delighted to see the hip hop star look so enthusiastic on Saturday night, others have reacted badly to the idea he hurt the current world champion.

‘Dude could have ruined the hottest angle going into Mania being reckless with the top guy,’ ranted @SocietyMovies on X.

And @ChairmanSV tweeted: ‘Travis Scott should never be allowed back inside a WWE ring if he injured Cody. Cody doesn’t deserve to be injured by reckless behavior, especially by someone who probably doesn’t even know how to bump.’
‘BAN Travis Scott from Wrestlemania! It’s the only option,’ added @VictorBurnsTV, while others have heaped praise on Travis for getting so involved.
‘We want more of Travis Scott in the ring,’ begged @1Soul1337, while abackstage video shared by WWE boss Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque shows the hip hop star loved the whole experience.
‘Bro, this might be better than like, lowkey, performing. It was like a whole ‘nother vibe. It was so crazy,’ he beamed as he was literally jumping for joy, admitting he’s ‘already hooked.
‘I’m about to get a ring in all the cribs,’ he said.

Perforated eardrum
- According to the NHS, a perforated eardrum can ‘get better on its own with 2 months and your hearing returns to normal’
- Sometimes, surgery may be required if the eardrum isn’t healing itself
- Symptoms of a perforated eardrum can include hearing loss, tinnius, earache, itching, dizziness and a high temperature
‘Oh yeah he’s defo gonna wrestle😭,’ replied @Zashy120, as @JohnFelix49 added: ‘He caught the wrestling bug, that’s awesome 😃’
Travis – whose song 4×4 is the official theme for Monday Night Raw on Netflix – could be part of a villainous group with the two Hollywood stars, after Cena’s character turned to the dark side with just weeks until WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas.
Speaking to media after the show, The Rock simply said ‘yes’ when asked if Travis could end up wrestling in the near future, adding: ‘I feel like with Travis, Travis loves pro wrestling and he’s a culture guy.
‘Travis Scott is already one of the greatest of all time… Some, like Travis, deeply wanna get involved. That’s what you saw tonight.’
Meanwhile, Fightful has reported that the rapper has even started training behind closed doors for a potential match.

According to the outlet, a source said Travis has been training ‘at a WWE legend’s wrestling school’, while talks have already started to get him in the ring.
Bad Bunny’s blunt reaction to the events at Elimination Chamber – he simply tweeted ‘wow’ – could bring him back into the fold after a handful of acclaimed WWE matches over the years.
That could set up some kind of showdown between the musicians, potentially with Cena, Rock, Cody and Roman Reigns involved in a tag match of some kind.
Bad Bunny is no stranger to the world of wrestling, with his most recent match coming at Backlash in 2023 as he defeated Damian Priest in a wild Puerto Rico Street Fight.
Big names like Logan Paul and Jackass icon Johnny Knoxville have crossed over in recent years, while Vanessa Hudgens and Drake have been spotted at WWE events this year.
